Born in 1968, he graduated from T.E.D Ankara College and Ankara University, Department of Italian Language and Literature. During her university education, Sarısoy worked in Aktüel Magazine and women's magazines affiliated with 1 Number Publishing. He took part in Flash TV during the establishment of private televisions. In addition to his duties as a redactor, announcer and reporter, he prepared and presented women, youth, health and education programs. He worked as a "Main News Announcer" at Kanal D between 1995-1997. Sarısoy, who started working on TRT Haber channel in 2010, edited and hosted the programs "Hayat +", "After 10 with Defne Sarısoy", "Daily" and "Economic Recipes".
