Elvan Bilge MENTEŞE
After graduating from ITU Metallurgical Engineering in 1992, Elvan Bilge Menteşe continued her graduate studies in the same department in the Materials Department. While continuing his master's degree in 1993, he started to work as a Research Assistant in the same department. After completing his master's degree, he left his job at the university with the decision to switch to the private sector. Shortly after he started to work as a Quality Engineer at Faz Elektrik in the private sector, he started to work as a Laboratory Engineer at the ELBA Wheel Factory of Elginkan Holding. Then, he started his career as Quality Systems and R&D Officer in Döktaş in 1999 and continued as Quality Systems and R&D Manager. In this process, he carried out the certification and management activities of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 Management Systems with the establishment of Laboratories. It has VDA 6.3 Auditor certificate. In addition, he carried out the APQP-PPAP process of OEM parts for a long time. He has also managed all Environmental Management Activities within the scope of Environmental Legislation in the company since 2002. In 2017, he established the Döktaş R&D Center within the scope of the law no 5746. Within the scope of sustainability, he made SAQ 4.0, Ecovadis reports and managed the Company Sustainability Reporting activities. In addition to the continuous improvement projects within the scope of Production and Quality, he conducted many Tübitak TEYDEB and university industry projects. Within the scope of University-Industry Cooperation, he became a member of the Industrial Advisory Board of Dokuz Eylül University and Celal Bayar University, and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Manisa R&D and Design Centers Cooperation Platform, which was created within this scope. With the knowledge and experience he gained during his 30-year working life, he continues to work within the body of Vira Strategic Partnership on Integrated Management Systems training, audit and consultancy activities, improvement projects and talent development.
